Tip: print at 100% scale (no "fit to page") so the grid boxes stay a consistent size. Our printing guide walks through the exact settings.
Ways to Use a Blank Calendar
- Meal planning — one grid per month on the fridge.
- Classrooms — dates that match your school year, not the calendar year (or use the ready-made academic calendar).
- Habit tracking — mark an X for every day you keep the streak.
- Content planning — sketch a posting schedule before committing.
- Dry-erase reuse — laminate one printout and reuse it every month.

How to Get the Most From a Blank Calendar
Blank vs. dated calendar — which should you pick?
Choose a blank calendar when you want to reuse one grid every month, start on a date that isn't the 1st (like a school term), or track habits without the clutter of pre-printed dates. Choose a dated calendar when you want the days already filled in with weekends and holidays marked.
How to fill it in
Write the month and year on the top line, then number the first box under the correct weekday and count across. Most months fit in five rows; a few that start late in the week need six — just tuck the last date into the corner of the fifth-row box.
Choose your format
The blank grid comes in four print-ready layouts:
| Format | Size | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Letter · Landscape | 8.5 × 11 in | Wide wall calendars with room to write |
| Letter · Portrait | 8.5 × 11 in | Binders and clipboards |
| A4 | 210 × 297 mm | Printing outside the US |
| Monday start | Letter or A4 | ISO-week and European layouts |
Reuse tip: laminate one printout or slide it into a plastic sleeve, then write with dry-erase markers and wipe it clean each month — one sheet lasts all year.
